This workshop series will highlight some of the different research opportunities you can apply to! Join us as we discuss the NOAA Hollings Scholarship and PYSO internship programs as well as UROP and Graduate School.

Interested in earning scholarships and interning with NOAA? Find out more about the Hollings Scholarship Program and Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center Young Scientist Opportunity (PYSO). 

The Hollings Scholarship Program provides funding for two years of full-time study and a 10-week, paid internship at a NOAA facility during the summer. The internship provides the scholars with hands-on, practical experience in NOAA-related science, research, technology, policy, management, and education activities.

PYSO internships provides a summer research experience and formal training opportunities. This program offers professional experience in scientific research and formal training opportunities tailored toward participants’ educational and professional goals and interests.
