Islam prescribes Amr-bil- Maroof as the duty of this Ummah. Furthermore, it teaches us that knowledge is acquired by struggle. So each of the exercises requires some struggle and action, as that is the only way to understanding. Each of the following opinions is widespread in the Ummah, but is in conflict with basic Islamic ideas about knowledge.
