We are excited to start the Travelling Obi Round 1 sign up!
*For this round we will have 50 participants, on first come first serve basis. Two spots will be reserved for the organizers*
Everyone is welcome! Beginners or experts, it doesn't matter!
SIGN UP TIMELINE:
August 5 - August 7, 2013 until 8PM (US Mountain time zone ) - NEW participants only
August 7, 2013 after 8PM (US Mountain time) - everyone else
RULES:
- One Obi - Many Countries - Many Ensembles
- Facebook will be used as primary means of communication between the organizers and the participants.
- Please understand that it will take years to complete the project, and some people will be waiting a very long time to receive the obi.
- One obi will be chosen from those offered up by members.
- Each person has 1 to 3 weeks to wear the obi.
*IMPORTANT* If you are not able to wear obi by the end of week 3, you MUST pass it on regardless if you got a chance to wear it.
- Photos should be taken (if possible) with a famous landmark in your area.
- You can take as many photos as you like, but the minimum photos: front view and back view, showcasing the obi.
- You are responsible for postage for the next person. If you are able to hand the obi to the next person, you may want to discuss splitting the cost of postage for the next person obi needs to be mailed to.
- Not mandatory, but nice - including a letter and/or small gift for the next person.
