School Board Trustee Candidate questionnaire
Dear Trustee Candidate,

Parents for Choice in Education (parentchoice.ca) is an Alberta-based, non-profit organization that supports Alberta students by advocating for excellence in education through maximum parental choice.

Parents entrust their children to schools expecting them to be safe, well cared for, and encouraged in real learning. School board trustees have a duty to act on behalf of parents, ensuring that education is focused on worthwhile academics, not ideology, and that schools support families rather than undermining them.

To help parents make informed choices, we are asking trustee candidates to respond to the following questions.

Format note: Most questions are answered Yes / No / Somewhat. If you answer “Somewhat,” please explain briefly in the comment box at the end.

Responses will be published on our website and shared through our mailing list and social media to voters who are highly engaged in the area of education. We will also distribute responses to other groups to share with their networks.

Candidates who receive the survey, but choose not to respond will be noted publicly.

Thank you for your participation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
