KEEA and EEA-NJ will host a 75-minute PechaKucha session on the afternoon of September 18th—day two of Policy in Action, KEEA & EEA-NJ's 2024 Conference.
What's the format?
PechaKucha presenters share 20 slides, spending 20 seconds on each slide. That gives them 400 seconds—almost seven minutes—to give a fast-paced, engrossing, and highly visual presentation on the theme topic. There will be a brief time for audience questions.
What's the theme topic?
The 2024 PechaKucha theme will be "New Challenges, New Solutions" in energy efficiency. Presenters should describe a new challenge they've encountered in our region's rapidly shifting energy efficiency landscape—and how they've thought outside the box to find solutions.
How can I participate?
Participation is open to all conference attendees. To be considered, submit a short abstract of your presentation through our online form by Monday, July 15th. Accepted presenters will be informed on Friday, July 19th. Accepted presenters must submit complete 20 complete PechaKucha slides by Thursday, August 15th.
How are abstracts chosen?
Presenting abstracts will be selected by KEEA and EEA-NJ's 2024 Conference Committee. "Newness" of the challenge and solution described, relevance to the conference audience and content, and fit with other PechaKucha submissions will all be considered.
