General Merchant Information
Kingston Pirate Festival held on the property of the Port of Kingston. Products sold, distributed or
displayed should be appropriate for the Festival standards.
Merchant space is assigned first-come-first-serve based on the information you indicate on the
Merchant Application (festival reserves the right to adjust/move as necessary). Merchants are responsible
for set-up and take-down of their own space(s).
Merchants who break contract by leaving early without arrangements to do so will be uninvited to
future events.
Merchants, in appropriate garb, must be ready for business by opening and keep spaces
staffed continuously until closing. We do not have volunteers to staff your booth for breaks. So
Neither the Kingston marina nor Kingston Pirate Festival are responsible for any loss or theft.
Please read and complete the following agreement and application. By submitting this form,
you agree to the General Rules of the Festival and all of what is written below. 1.
DATES &TIMES: The event will be held on Sat June 13th with set up time TBA.
2. LOCATION: The event will be held on the private property of The Port of Kingston
3. SPACE: Each vendor will rent a specified space or area for which they may sell their wares or
goods.
4. FEES: All fees must be paid before the event, in full in accordance with the proper required
specifications of the faire.
5.
DRESS CODE: Booth vendors and their associates must be dressed in costume, period type garb,
cosplay, or other fantasy clothing to a reasonable degree, during ‘open to the public’ hours of operation.
6.
ATMOSPHERE: Vendors will make a reasonable attempt to promote a pirate themed atmosphere
through their appearance, and their booth’s presentation.
7.
MERCHANDISE:
All appropriate merchandise may be sold to the public during gate hours, and other faire
participants during non-public hours. Items are subject to the discretion of the Festival.
8.
SIGNAGE: Vendors should provide adequate signage of their business or shop name, and show
informative signs to help any customers understand payment policies in regard to cash, credit card, and
etc.
9. SET-UP: Vendors will be responsible for their loading, unloading, and setup. Set up tie TBA.
10.
VENDOR ASSISTANTS: Vendors will provide, complete names of any individuals
that will be helping with their booth. Vendors are allowed up to 2 staff per booth.
11.
FACILITIES: There will be toilets within the festival grounds.
12.
CONDUCT: All vendors must follow the posted rules of conduct that each member of the public
must abide by.
13. PETS: Are welcome with proper restraints, and clean-up. Any pets are subject to the rules of the
faire and the property.
14.
CANCELLATION: No refunds under any circumstances.
INDEMNITY AGREEMENT: Vendors shall indemnify and hold Kingston Pirate Festival, the Port of
Kingston or the Event organizers harmless from any and all claims, debts, or liabilities arising by contract,
tort, or otherwise out of the operations of the booth and shall defend any lawsuits or claims brought
against Kingston Pirate Festival, the Port of Kingston by any third party of any nature or form or
whatsoever as a result of the Participant’s operation. The applicant agrees to hold Kingston Pirate
Festival, the Port of Kingston or the Event organizers harmless from all claims for damage or loss
