November 2023 Horizon Forum Anti-Hate Policy and Protocol Training - Indication of Interest
CFLeads is pleased to be partnering with the Horizon Forum again to create a cohort of community foundations that will participate in Horizon Forum's Anti-Hate Policy and Protocol Training together.

Tailored to the specific and unique needs of community foundations, this program is designed to assist staff, executives, and board members on developing policies, practices, and due diligence procedures to ensure their organizations are insulated from funding hate activity.

Cohort Details
Each cohort will be comprised of no more than eight community foundations. 

Horizon Forum recommends the following community foundation staff participate in the training:

- 1 executive team member (CEO or VP)
- 1 Director of Philanthropy or other member of the Donor Services team
- 1 member from the Grants/Distribution team

Workshop Dates
The Horizon Forum will schedule a 1-hour phone call with each community foundation prior to your first workshop session.

- Session 1: November 1st at 3 - 4:30 p.m. Eastern
- Session 2: November 8th at 3 - 4:30 p.m. Eastern


Investment
The $2,000 fee per community foundation includes:

- Two 90-minute workshops that provide practical, actionable tools for grantmakers and foster dialogue and peer learning;
- A robust toolkit that provides users with sample policies, case studies, and other guiding materials;
- An annual subscription to Horizon Forum’s Hate Screen, a due-diligence tool tailored for grantmaking institutions; and
- Five hours of ongoing verbal consultation and document review with the Horizon Forum.
