If you're looking for means to fund your next film project, you can't miss out on this workshop. Crowdfunding has become a ubiquitous film funding technique and it can be an incredibly powerful tool if you know how to use it right. It’s the practice of funding a project or film by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people and building an audience at the same time. Sounds pretty simple but it's a whole different ball game when you have to do it yourself. The team of film crowdfunding platform CineCrowd will help you out as they host a workshop on crowdfunding including all the tips & tricks on how to create a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Crowdfunding platform CineCrowd is set up exclusively for filmmakers and therefore provides a more structured and specific – and consequently more successful- platform than general platforms. Both well-known filmmakers (such as George Sluizer, Eddy Terstall, and Heddy Honigmann) and filmmakers who are at the start of their career have been able to make films with a little help from CineCrowd. CineCrowd offers intensive coaching to filmmakers from the day they submit their project to the ending of the project’s crowdfunding process. 86% of all CineCrowd projects succeed in finding financial support, that’s more than on any other crowdfunding platform. Even though CineCrowd is based in The Netherlands, the platforms range is global and both projects and donations come from all over the world.
