Assist in the organization and oversight of the entire youth program of MASOM.
Closely work with the Program Committee to plan and organize programs that are geared towards the needs of our young generation.
Arrange Frequent seminars and workshops by renowned English scholars exclusively targeting issues pertaining our youth.
Focus
on stronger interfaith and civic duty activism and work on achieving a
more active volunteerism role within the Chicagoland community.

Plan and manage โladies onlyโ programs and events.
Work
closely with all the other committees (especially with the ladies'
members of a committee) to help manage day to day programs and services
in the ladies' section.
Help implement MASOMโs policies and procedures in the Ladies section.
Identify
the needs of the women and children in the ladiesโ section and
communicate those to the relevant committee for resolution.

Plan and arrange Tabarruk for all the programs in the calendar years.
Communicate
and confirm with the annual tabarruk sponsors for their plans for the
current year to make sure there is no misunderstanding.
Arrange and keep track of the Dining hall Supplies including table covers, plates, napkins etc.
Communicate with the Finance committee for Budget/Funds for tabarruk or supplies (if required).
Account/Finance/Fund Raising Committee:
Raise funds for daily operations and expenses.
Raise funds for special programs/events.
Raise funds for special projects.
Project and track MASOMโs financial Budget for the year.
Communicate with the Program committee to help organize Fundraising programs.

Maintain MASOM building and surrounding compound in good condition.

Identify current building and maintenance issues and provide solutions.
Get Repair and Maintenance quotations/estimations for the required work
Communicate with the Finance committee for Budget/Funds for the projects.

Maintain up to date records related to Wadi-e-MASOM Cemetery and graves allocations.
Work with the Funeral Committee to get the necessary details and records for all the burials on an ongoing basis.
Work with the Cemetery Management for the ongoing maintenance of the graves and headstones.

Build and educate a team of dedicated Momineen that are willing to help in the funeral process and available on short notices.
Make sure all the funeral resources and supplies are always available.
Maintain up to date records related to all the funeral services performed.
Work
with the Wadi-e-MASOM Committee to get the necessary details and
records for all the burials taking place at the Wadi-e-MASOM cemetery.
Communicate with the IT committee for timely announcements.

Actively work on the recruitment and assignment of the volunteers according to the requirements of the organization.
Create a process for easier registration and maintenance of the volunteer database.
Establish a process to properly track the volunteer work performed by all the volunteers.
Plan
specials events/time slots for volunteer recognition, nominations and
awards e.g. Volunteer of the Month, Volunteer of the Year etc.
Closely work with all the other committees to identify the requirements and proper assignments of the volunteers.

Work with the Program Committee for timely creation and distribution of Flyers/Emails.

Prepare and present Ziaraat during Ayyam-e-Aza, Shahadat Majalis and other relevant programs.
Take care of the Azakhana (Ladies and Gents)
Take care of the outdoor Alam-e-Maula Abbas (as) and its surrounding area.
Work with the Program Committee to plan and organize Markazi Juloos-e-Aashoora and Arbaeen.

Develop policies and procedures for the safety and security of the patrons as well as the property of MASOM.
Work with the law enforcement to evaluate current safety and security situation.
Engage in planning for emergency situations including natural disasters and active shooter scenario.
Build an Incident Response Team (IRT) that can prepare for and respond to emergencies.

Plan and organize Markazi Juloos-e-Aashoora and Arbaeen.
Reach out to Chicagoland other Muslim organization and invite them to Procession.
Parking arrangements for Procession attendees.

Newsletter and Publications Committee:
Responsible for publishing program and community updates to media and newspapers.
Disciplinary Committee:
Responsible for resolving any disciplinary issues and responding to disciplinary complaints.
Public Relations Committee:
Community outreach and invite Momineen to programs.
Work on getting feedback on areas of improvement and present it to EC.
Parking Committee:
Responsible for guiding the patrons for parking in designated areas.
Responsible for removing the vehicles from fire lanes.

Resident Aalim Affairs / Aalim Committee:
Responsible to work with Resident/Visiting Aalim for their concerns or needs.
Responsible to update the Aalim on community needs and issues within the community to address
Schedule sessions with members of the community if any guidance or counseling is needed.

Responsible for reviewing the current constitution and suggest if any amendments are needed.
Building Cleaning Committee:
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the center before and after the program.
