Are you passionate about cats and dogs and making a difference in their lives? Fig and Friends Animal Rescue seeks dedicated and compassionate volunteers to foster our adorable cats and kittens before they make their way to the Happy Cat Cafe. We also need fosters for adult dogs and puppies. By joining our team, you'll play a vital role in helping our feline & canine friends find their forever homes and enrich the lives of our community.
As a volunteer, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the well-being of all foster animals in your home.
- Socializing and engaging with the fosters to prepare them for adoption.
- Monitoring and reporting any health or behavioral concerns to our rescue team.
- Attending at least two monthly Adoption Events with your fosters once they are ready for adoption.
- Transport your fosters to C-Snip or other vet appointments as needed. *Alternate transportation may be available from other volunteers if needed.
Our ideal volunteer is responsible, reliable, and committed to the welfare of our cats and dogs. To the best of our ability, we will provide all the necessary food, medications, litter, etc. to help you succeed in your role.
