'An Adviser Asks' Question Submission
Thank you for your interest in An Adviser Asks, an agony aunty style column where questions posed by financial professionals are answered by Emma at Emotional Finance. I'm so glad you’re here.

All questions are submitted anonymously, and I don’t collect email addresses through this form.

Anyone in the financial services community is welcome to submit a question, from planners and advisers to paraplanners, technical specialists, admin teams, L&D, HR, and beyond.

Not sure what or how to ask? Questions might explore client conversations that didn’t land well, challenges in building trust, moments of doubt, problems in your team's dynamics, career questions or simply things you’ve been wondering about in your work with clients or colleagues.

No question is too small, too big, or too ‘silly.’ If it’s on your mind, it’s worth exploring. I’d love to hear from you.

By submitting a question to An Adviser Asks, you’re giving consent for an anonymised version of your question to be published via the Emotional Finance blog, newsletter, and social media channels. Your name, firm, and any other identifying details will be removed. I may lightly edit your wording for clarity, but the spirit and meaning of your question will remain intact.

While I can’t promise every question will be featured, I read each one with care and appreciation.

For more information, you can always email me at emma@emotionalfinance.com.

A bit about me: I’m a qualified UKCP Gestalt psychotherapist (currently registered as ‘retired’), trained to work with both individuals and groups. I’m also a DipFA qualified and Wise Monkey certified Financial Coach. Please note: while my responses draw on psychotherapeutic and relational insight, they do not constitute clinical or therapeutic advice.

Warmly,
Emma
