There are 14 elected positions in USG: 12 senators, 1 President, and 1 Vice-President. Our USG Election takes place in late January/Early February. Campaigning begins at the beginning of 2nd semester. Elected officials will serve from mid-spring semester of 2019 to mid-spring semester of 2020 and are elected by the USC student body.
Prior to the election, interested candidates must submit an application in late November. This application serves as a confidential declaration of one’s interest in running for an elected position.
We will be providing more information on the specific dates and materials required in the coming weeks. In the meantime, feel free to check out the weekly public USG Senate meeting at 7:00 p.m. in TCC 350.
