Please read and agree to the following terms before submitting your booking enquiry.
• All events and meetings at Redhills, and the organisations hosting them, must be compatible with the values of the Durham Miners’ Association (DMA), and the objectives of The Redhills Appeal.

• The Redhills Appeal is the DMA campaign to renew its historic home as a centre of education, heritage, and culture to serve generations to come. It is vital to the success of the appeal and the future of Redhills that visitors enjoy a positive experience at Durham Miners Hall, that events are high quality and well managed, and that all staff, volunteers, and guests are treated with courtesy and respect.

• Information about public events - including all promotional materials, including leaflets and posters - may only be released publicly (including on social media) following agreement with staff at Redhills.

• The addition of acts or guest speakers, stalls, partner organisations, the distribution of leaflets, and display of banners at your event may only be done following prior arrangement with and agreement of staff at Redhills.

• Redhills is not normally able to provide marketing support for public events.

• A contact person must be designated to liaise with Redhills to agree event schedule, front-of-house staffing, and audience management, to ensure a successful event.

• Your contact person and any staff/ volunteers you provide must remain sober while at Redhills for the duration of your event.

• Parking is limited in the grounds of Redhills and may be restricted to blue badge holders only.

• Public events in The Pitman’s Parliament require a minimum attendance of 150 people. To book The Pitman’s Parliament, a non-refundable deposit of 50 percent of the hire fee is required within 14 days of booking confirmation.

• An additional £25 surcharge applies for bookings for all rooms at weekends and after 6pm Monday to Friday.

• If your event is to be ticketed, arrangements must be agreed with Redhills before tickets are made publicly available.

• Redhills reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone attending an event, or to ask attendees to leave should they breach any of the above.

• Breach of any of the above terms could result the cancellation of your booking.
