YGL Accelerator Mentor Application Form
The ForUsGirls Foundation Inc., YGL Accelerator, is a 7-week global leadership, professional development and entrepreneurship training. YGL Accelerator  is uniquely designed for Black and racialized young women 16-22  to develop as innovators, entrepreneurs and global champions of the UN Global Goals.

We are seeking, dynamic, passionate, experienced professionals to join our program volunteer mentors. The role of program mentors are to provide support to Accelerator participants as coaches.

Program mentors provide weekly business coaching support to accelerator participants with their business ideas.  We invite professionals and community members to submit their application to support one or multiple selected sessions for the upcoming Winter 2026 accelerator cohort 6. 

Accelerator Program Dates:
  • Thursday Weekly
  • January 15 until February 26
  • Program Pitch Competition March 5
  • 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • SDG idea Factory, Downtown, Kitchener
  • Hybrid and On-Site Participation is Available

The Expected Commitment:
  • Attend YGL Accelerator mentor coach training 45 minutes
  • Support a minimum of 1 weekly session
  • Remain present for the duration of the selected session
