Ski to Sea Kayak Rental Request
Thank you for your interest in renting a boat from the CBC for 2024's Ski to Sea race!

Please fill out this form to request a kayak for Ski to Sea, if your application is approved you will be contacted for payment and to discuss any questions you may have!

Rental Information
To hold a boat for you, you will need to  do the following:

•Fill out the form below with the information of your Kayak racer!

•$160 rental fee; scholarships are available!

•$500 deposit
If paying with a credit card this will be placed as a temporary hold on race day and lifted once the vessel is returned to us. (You may also write us a check that will be properly disposed of once the vessel is returned.)

•A signed and completed Special Event Rental Agreement

•Fill out and sign our participant waiver if you have not done so already. This is a one-time sign so if you are a regular you do not need to fill it out again. Unsure? Call and we can look you up.

Once you have provided us with the necessary information, we will schedule a time for you to come select a boat that best suits your needs. If you are unable to come for a fitting we can pick one for you based on your hight and weight. If you are taking a class with us you can practice with the boat you choose!

We will transport all of the boats to the starting location the night before the race. We will have volunteers to help pick up boats at the ending location on race day, however it is your responsibility to ensure your boat and any equipment is returned and accounted for post-race.

All of the sea kayaks that we offer for the race meet the eligibility criteria - however, you will still need to be at Zuanich Park for final inspection the morning of the race.

Payment Information

The price of the rental is $160, which covers the boat, equipment (if needed), boat transportation to the start and from the finish locations as well as registration of the boat. We will call to collect payment over the phone if you plan to pay with card.

In addition to the rental fee, we require a $500 deposit made in the form of a check or held on a credit card.
