Description: By the end of this workshop you will have created a superhero and villain. You will have used the tools of narrative – character, plot, setting – to develop a storyline for either graphic or literary format.

Adam Blackman
Adam is a writer of short stories and picture books. He has published feature stories, travel essays, a book review and a short story, in print and online publications, has worked with students from kindergarten to college age, and has an MFA from Sarah Lawrence. He’s an active member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators and thought he was his own harshest critic, but happily ceded that title recently to his four year old son.
