DUE TO COVID-19 CLOSURE, WE ARE NOT OFFERING IN-PERSON ORIENTATION/TOUR UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GETTING YOUR NAME ON THE LIST TO VOLUNTEER ONCE WE RE-OPEN, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Please select the in-person orientation/tour (Part 2) you will attend, all orientations will be held at Pomona Hope at 401 N Gibbs St. Pomona CA 91767. If you have any questions please email nora@pomonahope.org 

The volunteer training dates below are for our Summer/Fall 2020 program. Once you have submitted this RSVP form, you will receive an email with a link to a 90-minute training video (Part 1)  that you are required to watch PRIOR to your orientation/tour date.  Please give yourself at least a week to watch the training video when you select a date for the orientation/tour.

 * If you plan on volunteering in the garden only (one Saturday per month) - Please note that you can also reach out directly to our Garden Coordinator, Barbara Evans at Barb@pomonahope.org as you do not have to train or attend orientation/tour.

Please note that all volunteers (on-site and remotely) over the age of 18 volunteering in the after-school program or summer enrichment program must complete and pass a live scan (fingerprinting) prior to working with the students. Forms will be given to you during orientation or you can download from our website (www.pomonahope.org) under the volunteer tab.  

*Fingerprinting is not necessary if you will only be volunteering in the garden one Saturday per month.
