Because of low numbers in the sophomore class, our JV numbers at the high school are low this season.  We are looking for some 8th graders who would be interested in some extra lacrosse this spring to play on the high school JV team.  We are not exactly sure how it would look yet so we wanted to get an idea of how many would be interested in playing.  The expectation would be for you to uphold your commitment to your Medfield youth team and select team.  We will work with you to make that possible.  The season would run from now until 5/19.  If you are up for that, please fill out the following survey ASAP so we can begin to figure out logistics.   Please discuss with your parents to make sure your schedule can handle it!  Choosing not to play JV this year will have NO effect on whether you make the team next year and there is zero pressure to play this season.  We know a lot of you have probably already made other commitments for this spring and this may not be possible, we just hope you all will try out next year!  There are no cuts and 8th graders cannot play on Varsity.  Generally JV has 2 games a week on weekdays.  Practice is everyday after school however we know with your youth schedules that will be a lot so we are going to work together to make a doable schedule.  There are no practices on weekends.  Practices will be at 4:00 at Wheelock.  We will be holding an informational meeting on Wednesday immediately after school in the health room!
