As qualitative researchers, we want a dedicated space to foster support, collaboration, debate and discussion, alongside the sharing of resources to support ethical and appropriate openness and transparency. We therefore envision the creation of an Open Qualitative Research Community
Our community will be oriented toward the European research, funding and policy landscape. Meetings will take place in EU timezones. Sessions will be directed by participants, and may range from informal discussions to more formal presentations of research or focused discussions around collaborations.
This community is open to anyone with an interest in open and transparent qualitative research, whether researchers, open science trainers or service providers, infrastructure providers, librarians, etc.
We will begin be defining the values and aims of the community, and establishing the frequency and timing of regular meetings. This short survey will allow us to get in touch with you to schedule initial meetings designed to co-create the community's values, vision, aims and purpose. Please sign up if you are interested!
This form was created by Nicki Lisa Cole, Annayah Prosser, Madeleine Pownall and Tamarinde Haven. Nicki Lisa Cole will store your data on a secure server and only use it to organize meetings of the Open Qualitative Research Community, unless consent is given to receive communications for other purposes.
