Vote for your favorite book to receive the High School Nutmeg Award for 2027! The Nutmeg Book Award encourages children in grades 2-12 to read quality literature from a list of ten nominated titles each year. The titles are nominated by Connecticut librarians and teachers. The East Lyme Public Library promotes the Nutmeg nominees as part of our Summer Reading Program. We encourage our patrons to read as many of the Nutmeg nominees as they'd like, and then vote for their favorites. 

Votes will be collected through April 2027, and then submitted to join votes from across the state to be tallied by the Nutmeg Committee. The Nutmeg High School winner will be announced in May 2027. You can learn more about the program here. 

Please vote for only one title for each age category of nominees. There is a separate ballot for each age category.
