2018 MADE-MFAT Case Competition
NOTE: REGISTRATIONS EXTENDED UNTIL 25TH AUGUST, OPENING NIGHT IS NOW ON THURSDAY 23RD AT 6PM IN ROOM 803-210 (LAW SCHOOL).
Make a Difference with Economics (MADE) is proud to announce their 2018 Case Competition, co-sponsored by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT).
You will work in groups of 4 to research, analyse and advise MFAT on the key factors encouraging firms to maintain high value-added business activities in New Zealand as they develop their offshore presence.
We will disperse the information of August 26th and you will get roughly three weeks until the 16th September (including the mid semester break) to prepare your research. Finalists get to present (on 20th September) and network with an esteemed panel of judges, including Peter Bailey, Senior Economist at MFAT, and Natasha Hamilton-Hart, Director of Southeast Asia Studies Centre at the New Zealand Asia Institute. This is a great opportunity to grow and apply your knowledge and network with professionals and fellow students!
