E. Cost:

Phansad Bird Count is a highly specialized scientific activity which is organized and conducted by Green Works Trust in the interest of conservation of Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary. This Count is supported by SBI Foundation under their Conservation through Sustainable Engagements, Restoration and Wildlife Protection (CONSERW) programme. Hence, there is no registration or participation cost for the participants.

However, we have observed and experienced that commitment of attendance from participants is lesser for ‘FREE’ events than paid ones. In this case, non-committed participants or last-minute cancellations can directly affect the quality of our scientific count. Hence, we request an obligatory donation of Rs 1000 from the participants.

We assure you that the Bird Count is indeed a FREE event for the participants; thanks to our funding partner SBI Foundation. Your donation will be duly utilised for other conservation activities of the Trust. This donation will be tax-exempt under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. We are sure you would willingly make this donation for the conservation initiatives of the Trust.
