  • A valid passport is required to study outside of the USA. To complete the application for the trip to Japan, you will need information from your passport. You will also need the name, address and contact information for two persons who will be your emergency contacts. If you do not have this information, you may still complete the form, but your application will not be complete until this information is provided to the International Education Center.
  • You must be at least 18 years old by December 17, 2024 to participate in the program.
  • Once you've completed the application, please bring the following to the International Education Center  located in the Student Services Building, 3rd Floor, Room S332:  
    • $300 non-refundable deposit or $3,280 (check or money order) made out to "Santa Monica College"
    • Passport 
    • Completed Overseas Release & Medical Release forms
  • After you have completed the steps above you will be considered to participate in the program.
