The Norman Rea Gallery is offering you the opportunity to suggest an exhibition for next year!
By paying to be members of the Norman Rea Gallery, we believe that you should have more of a say in the exhibitions that the gallery hosts throughout the year.
At this stage in the process we are just taking in your suggestions.
Later in the term, the Norman Rea committee will whittle the suggestions down to 3 exhibition ideas that would work in the space.
Then we will put the 3 suggestions out to the members to vote on.
The member voting stage will be anonymous. We have asked for your name to enable the committee to update you and ask you for more details at a later date if necessary. This is also to give you credit for the idea should your suggestion be successful.
If your exhibition suggestion is successful, if you would like to, you will have the opportunity to curate the exhibition alongside our committee. All members will be given the opportunity to join the exhibition team, this team will work over the Summer to curate the exhibition. Current third year students who are graduating this Summer are still welcome to submit suggestions, and take a leading role in the exhibition alongside the committee over the summer, however they will not be able to physically curate the exhibition in the gallery in Autumn term.
