Join the Family Advisory Committee for a unique opportunity to advise, support, and grow Douglas County’s Family Resource Center! We are currently seeking 6 new members.
This nomination form is due by April 29, 2026.
The current Family Advisory Committee members will vote to determine next year’s membership and will reach out to all nominees by May 29, 2026.
This year, we are seeking nominations for President, Vice-President, and Coordinator roles!
The President plans FAC agendas, facilitates meetings, attends CCC Board of Directors meetings, and acts as a bridge of information and innovation between the FAC, CCC staff, and CCC Board of Directors.
The Vice President acts as president when the president is not available and will move into the Presidential role after the President's term has ended. This role may co-facilitate and plan meetings alongside the President.
The Coordinator creates and disseminates agendas and meeting minutes, and contacts caregivers to remind them of monthly FAC meetings.
- Your term will run from August 2026 to June 2027.
- You will receive two stipends of $100 each for being on the FAC (one in December 2026 and the second in June 2027).
- We ask that you participate in at least 9 out of 11 regular monthly meetings (members will determine meeting time and location).

El presidente planea las agendas del FAC, facilita las reuniones y asiste a las reuniones del consejo directivo del CCC, y actúa como un puente de información e innovación entre el FAC, personal del CCC y consejo directivo del CCC.
El Vice Presidente representa al presidente cuando éste no está disponible y se puede convertir en presidente cuando el término de este haya concluido. Este rol puede co-facilitar y planificar reuniones junto al presidente.
El Coordinador crea y reparte las agendas de las reuniones y sus notas posteriores, contacta a los cuidadores para recordarles de la próxima reunión del FAC.
- La duración de su término será de agusto del 2026 a Junio del 2027
- Usted recibirá dos estipendios de $100 cada uno por ser parte del FAC, una en (diciembre 2026 y la siguiente en junio de 2027).
- Le pedimos que participe por lo menos 9 de las 11 reuniones regulares (los miembros decidirán lugar y hora de la reunión).
