Summer Tutoring Volunteer Application 2026
Thank you for your interest in volunteering to tutor refugee children in Southeast. Please complete the form below with accurate information. After reviewing your application, we will match you with 2 or more suitable tutees. You will be committed to tutor one hour from Mon~Thurs, June 22~July 16th, 2026 between 8~9pm or 9-10pm.  Participation in the mandatory training and orientation session is scheduled on June 15th (Mon) 8:30pm. This session is required to join the program. Summer 2026 Tutoring Session Details
The program will run for 4 weeks, from June 22 to July 20, 2026. You are expected to complete a total of 16 one-hour tutoring sessions, Monday through Thursday each week. If you plan to miss any session, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend a session. When signing up, be sure to list any dates you are unavailable. Please note that you may not miss more than 4 sessions in total.

CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT
In order to insure the positive experiences to both tutors and students, we have established certain regulations and standards which all volunteers will be expected to observe.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-  Commit to tutor minimum of 8 sessions.
-  Check in and out of the site director at the selected/assigned times
-   Assist with set up, facilitation, and cleanup of the assigned activities
-   Be attentive, enthusiastic, and helpful during the assigned activities
-   Interact appropriately and respectfully with all staff, parents, and campers
-   Volunteer for the entire duration of the session(s) selected/assigned to you
-  Notify the director Grace (617)304-0366 if you are sick and/or unable to volunteer
-  Turn off your cell phone and do not use it during the session

ORIENTATION
Orientation is a mandatory introduction to volunteering. At this scheduled event we will review details of camp scheduling, policies, rules, facilities, etc. Orientation/training day will be announced.
