Introduction

The Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) is organizing a 2 to 7-Minute Movie Making Competition, offering a unique platform  for college/university students and school students to showcase their creativity.

Competition Rules & Guidelines
  1. The film must be created by a team/group of 4 to 10 students.
  2. The film can be based on any theme or related to Jaipur (for Jaipur theme, there will be separate competition).
  3. Both fiction and non-fiction films are eligible.
  4. Participation is open to students of all academic backgrounds, with no age restrictions.
  5. The duration of the film should be minimum 2 minutes and maximum 7 minutes.
  6. The film must be shot between March and July 2025 for college students - There should be a shot of any newspaper from this period with the date clearly visible. For school students, the film should be produced after January 2024.
  7. The film can be shot using a mobile camera, film camera, or video camera.
  8. Results will be announced in August 2025.
  9. Submission Deadline: 30 July 2025.
  10. Fee: INR 1500 per film per team.
Awards
  1. Top 5 to 21 films will be recognized (based on the number of entries received).
  2. Total Prize Money: INR 1.00 Lakh/worth.
  3. Certificates & Cash Awards for winners.
  4. Audience Choice Award:

  1. Screening of awarded films at the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) from January 9 to 13, 2026.
  2. Free delegate registration for the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) and the New Delhi Film Festival (NDFF).
