LLT Madrina Interest Form 2021

Thank you for your interest in serving as a Madrina with Latinas Leading Tomorrow!

ABOUT MADRINAS
Madrinas are professional Latinas - including college students and other inspirational people - who donate their time to LLT.

Madrinas are also public-facing volunteers; you will interact with students (as well as the LLT Board and other LLT volunteers). If, however, you would like to volunteer for internal LLT matters please reach out to LLT's Volunteer Recruitment chair: Aurora at aurora@latinasleadingtomorrow.

Madrinas volunteer with our programs - C.O.R.E., ELITE High School Academy or Latina Labs - and commonly do the following:

C.O.R.E (after school program): Speak to middle school and high school students about one's college education, career and professional trajectory or lead a structured workshop (grounded in one of the primary pillars of the C.O.R.E. program)

ELITE: Participate in LLT-designed efforts to teach academy participants how to protect and strengthen their personal brand, build their network and how to navigate professional environments with confidence.

Latina Labs: Mentor middle school students in a STEAM field or speak with students about what inspired you to enter your field and what steps you took to get there.

We rely on Madrinas to help advance the LLT mission and appreciate your support! Questions? Reach out to LLT's Volunteer Recruitment chair!
