Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Social Enterprises nowadays celebrate Earth Week, an entire week of activities focused on environmental issues.

Soap Cycling is dedicated to raising awareness of hand washing with soap as a key approach to environmental protection, green living, disease prevention and sustainability growth. Education about sanitation and hand washing is also one of Soap Cycling’s primary missions.

Accordingly, Soap Cycling will take the initiative to hold a “Soap Run” in conjunction with Earth Month whereby (i) volunteers from HK schools, companies, hotels and the community can come to SC’s warehouse to help process soap; (ii) new soap bars will be delivered to approved local charities; and (iii) soap ambassadors will visit HK schools to spread the message of sanitation, sustainability, and youth empowerment.
