We are a non-profit organization, or as we call it, a 'social business' in Beer-Sheva.

Our main goal is to create a lively space in the city dedicated to collaborative creations!

It is a space to learn and practice carpentry, while getting to know the community and exchanging knowledge.
One of our top priorities is to help improve and develop public spaces in our city (place-making) and we use our knowledge and experienced team to do so.

In the Community Carpentry we offer great workshops and courses that you are more than welcome to join.
These are in addition to our one and only ‘Open Workshop’!
You might be asking yourself "Now, what do they mean by that?" check out the explanation below.

We are working hard on transforming our content so it's more accessible for English speakers.

We will begin with an open tour for anyone who wishes to hear more about the place and see it with their eyes and meet some of our team---> It will be happening Dec 3rd 7 pm

Next we are planning to open a few workshops in English, for your convenience, stay tuned!

If you would like to arrange a private/ group session or course- please contact us! We offer a wide range of enjoyable workshops for all group types.

Our ‘Open Workshops’ are held every Monday and Thursday from 5:00-8:30 pm, everyone is welcome to come and work freely on their own projects, using the tools and machinery in the carpentry, guided by 2 volunteers from our team.

We ask for only 35 ILS Per session!  This is in order to cover the insurance expenses. If you buy an 8-entry ticket you will only pay 30 ILS per session (240 ILS all together).

Once you arrive to the carpentry you will be briefed on all the equipment and their safety rules and on the rules of the place, after which you will be free to work on your own! (No worries, we will be supervising).
No previous experience is needed, just come as you are!

We invite you all to come learn and create in a unique and inspiring environment.

We are permitted to have only 8 workers at the carpentry at a time - for that reason we ask you to please sign up in advance.

For your convenience, we offer pine wood for sale at the carpentry in various sizes (please visit fb page for more information). We also encourage you to bring your own wood (either recycled or bought) or even a piece of furniture you would like to upgrade.
