Keynote Speaker: Yomaira Figueroa, Michigan State University “Faithful Witnessing, Afro-Latinidades, and Making Space for Difference” Centering her research and experiences as an Afro-Latina in academia, the speaker will engage concepts such as "faithful witnessing" and "triple consciousness" as it relates to violence against women and those who are systemically silenced.
