As the Residence Hall Association (RHA) for the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, our mission is to serve as the voice and advocate for students. RHA represents the students of the residence halls and apartments and connects them to the larger campus and local community. We foster a sense of belonging amongst students living on-campus by creating an inclusive atmosphere with social, educational, and cultural programming. By providing opportunities for leadership, we strive to help residents enjoy their experience as part of the UH ‘ohana.
-Must be a classified full-time student at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, enrolled during the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
-Must be living on campus in residential housing Fall 2013 to Spring 2014.
-Must be available on Monday, April 22, 2013 for candidacy application review and elections conducted by the Residential Hall Association (RHA).
-Good standing with UH Manoa and residential housing.
-Resident Advisors are not allowed to participate on the executive board.
-Available for executive board and general assembly meetings, 4 hours of office hours per week, one-on-one’s, and implementation of programs.
-Application must be turned in by Friday, April 19, 2013 by noon.
-Applications will be reviewed in the afternoon.
-Be prepared to deliver a short speech (3 minutes) to support your candidacy for the General Assembly of RHA on Monday, April 22, 2013.
