BronyCon 2015 Events Application
Thank you for your interest in the BronyCon 2015 Events Department! The Events department is responsible for planning and implementing all of the conventions programming content. This includes over 100 panels, special events, multiple activity rooms, and Bronypalooza. We need people to help plan and run these things as well as technicians to maintain and run the A/V equipment at the convention. If any of this sounds like things you would like to do, then Events is the place for you!

Positions
We have a wide variety of positions available in the Events department. Please read the job descriptions below and check off which positions you would be interested in pursuing. Other positions may be available in the future or may be offered at the time of interview.

- Panelist Relations -
We are looking for customer service oriented people for this position. Our Panelist Relations staff act as the primary contact for all of our panelists both pre con and at con. They help panelists get all their information together so their panel and their time at BronyCon will go smoothly. *The only remaining track we are looking to hire Panelist Relations for is Writing.*

- Sound Technician / Board Op -
The Sound Technician will be in control of running the sound board within a panel room. They will be responsible for making sure all the attendees can see and hear the panels.They will also help with set up and tear down of the AV gear in their assigned panel room.

- Room Manager -
The Room Manager is in charge of running a particular panel room. They must make sure the room remains on schedule and that all of the AV gear is in working order. They will also be in charge of set up and tear down of the AV gear in their assigned panel room.

- Activity Coordinator -
The Activity Coordinators get to help create the activity rooms that everyone enjoys at BronyCon. At the convention these individuals get to run the activities of their respective room and watch them come to life. The rooms we are looking for staff for currently are: the art room (Pastel Pasture), the Cosplay Lounge, and the large miscellaneous room (Harmony Plaza). Some rooms include more specific responsibilities.

- Shift Manager -
The Shift Manager will be responsible for maintaining the programming schedule at the convention, including the schedules of Events staff. They will be in charge of knowing where everyone in the Events staff is at all times, and making sure everything is ready to go on time. They will reside in the Events Office and make sure Events staff are knowledgeable on what is happening in the department. (This is basically Events dispatch).
