Join the Local Policy Lab (LPL) Network

The Local Policy Lab (LPL) Network connects cities that are dedicated to protecting and strengthening democracy, advancing resilient and sustainable communities, and improving civic engagement.

The Network – which is open to any local government that supports these goals – includes a diverse array of cities from across the country. By joining the Network, you'll be able to demonstrate your city's commitment to democracy, while interacting with and learning from other cities across the country.  You'll also gain access to the coaching expertise of the Local Policy Lab team. There is no cost to join the Network.

Cities face a myriad of challenges: an unequal economy, a climate crisis, a generational racial reckoning, aging infrastructure, and unprecedented polarization. It is in cities that many of the most disenfranchised populations live, who often have been left out of governance and are increasingly distrustful of institutions.

LPL supports cities to advance opportunity and well-being for their residents, especially those who have historically been the most marginalized. LPL provides expertise and actionable policy solutions to cities on a range of public issues, centering justice and equity in our approach.
