Falltastic - October 18th 3-5pm (Rain date: October 25th)
School-wide celebration of fall with fun activities, pumpkins, and food!  Decoration and set up/clean up assistance; Supervision of various activities during the event.  During event, volunteers are asked to commit their time at 30 minute intervals.  This event falls on a Saturday.

Fall Novelty Sale - October TBD
Help unpack and set up of items for purchase.  Volunteer during student lunch hours to help the students shop.

Shopping Soiree - November TBD
A night out for parents only - consists of food, shopping, and raffle baskets! Volunteers may choose to assist in the collection of donations from local businesses for the gathering of raffle baskets;  Assist in putting raffle baskets together prior to the event; Assist in helping set up the venue day of the event.  This is an evening event. Note: PTA provides Donation Request Letter for volunteers collecting donations.

Holiday Boutique - December 9th (set up only) through December 12th
Help unpack and set up of items for purchase.  Volunteer during student lunch hours to help the students shop.

Unity Fair - January TBD
Committee helps plan the Sunquam hosted table at the district-wide event, and volunteers to serve food during the event.

Multicultural Day - February 10th (February 11th Snow Date)
Help organize and prepare the school for a day of celebration!  Volunteers may assist in representing a country of their choice, or assisting in the organization and collaboration of the day.

PARP - March 16-27
Two week event where classes compete for the most reading minutes and participate in daily activities.  Volunteers may choose to assist in decorating and preparing the school for two fun weeks of activities to encourage and celebrate a love for reading!

Spring Book Fair - March 17-18
Assist in the setup and clean up of books for sale, and monitoring of the sale.  This is an after school event and evening event.

Family Fun Night - March 27th
Help decorate and set up for a night of family fun!  Organize entertainment, purchase supplies, collaborate and execute one of the best events of the year!  This is an evening event.

Mystery Reader - March 27th
Assist in escorting our mystery readers to their assigned classrooms.  This event occurs at 9:30am on the morning of March 21st.

Teacher Appreciation - May 4-8
Committee will plan and execute a special way to celebrate our Sunquam staff.

Sunquam Spring Sale - May 5th (set up only) through May 8th
Help unpack and set up of items for purchase.  Volunteer during student lunch hours to help the students shop.

K-1 Planting - May 19th
Committee helps prepare the flower beds for planting prior to planting event.  Helps distribute and organize plants for each class, as well as assists the students in planting.

Committee helps plan and run fifth grade events throughout the year.
