MONDAY 4-8pm

--------4-4:15pm arrival rituals
1. Please set out the chalkboard, chaining and locking it around the tree.
2. Is there a positive, clear message on chalkboard with the YD logo (or similar) clearly on it? (if not please clean it and write a new message on it and draw something similar to the YD logo on it)
3. Were fliers stocked in brochure holder attached to stairs outside? (if not please stock them or indicate if they aren't in stock)
4. Laptop battery charged? (if not please indicate so here and please charge it asap)
5. Internet works? (if not please try to restart computer. if no luck, call 202-300-1269)
6. Your cell phone is on and handy? (if not please have it ready in case of emergency)
7. Please do a walk-through of classrooms and all common areas as you silently repeat a mantra or positive affirmation.  We suggest setting an intention for your service today. Perhaps dedicate your service for the next few hours to someone or something you love, imagining that you share the benefits of your service with others.
- Breathe. Is the air stuffy/smelly? Please light some incense, open windows, turn on fans, or do whatever is needed to freshen the air.
- Which areas were less than clean? Please let us know so we can ask the next person responsible for cleaning to address this.
- Is the temperature OK? If not please indicate here and adjust the thermostat.
8. Did your walk-through reveal that all classrooms and bathrooms are stocked well enough with water, cups, and towels to last through the evening classes?
9. Did your walk-through reveal the need for any maintenance or repairs to the space? If so, please describe.
10. Please ensure the front stoop, halls, stairs, bathrooms, and classrooms are well lit, free of unneeded items including lost and found stuff, with appropriate temperature, and appropriate smell (please light incense if the smell isn't pleasant). Did you do this? Please share any comments.
11. Was any mail delivered to the studio? Please put in Check-In Room desk shelving.
12. Did you see any packages delivered for the studio? If so, please indicate what was in the package and please confirm you put the contents of the package in the appropriate space in the studio and broke down the box for recycling.
13. Do any trash or recycling cans seem full or smelly? If so, they can be taken to trash bins out behind the studio. Please do so before classes start.

------4:15-4:30pm: Activities in the halls, stairs and entrance
1. Please lock the studio door on the first floor for your security and to ensure no one enters while the floors are wet.
2. Please wipe all surfaces in the stairwells, hallways and entrance with a damp cleaning towel. This includes the ledge that gathers dust that is on your right when you walk up the stairs to the top floor, student cubbies in the check-in area, and shoe rack downstairs. Was this done?
4. Please sweep all floors of the stairwells, hallways, entrance, and check in room. Was this done?
5. Please sweep off front stoop and steps outside. Was this done?
6. Please mop all floors (blue flat mop w/ towel cover on it - use the All Purpose Cleaner spray to lightly mist the floors) in the stairwells, hallways and entrance. If the mop you used was more than damp and left the floors wet at all, please dry the floors too so that students arriving for classes this afternoon don't slip and fall. Was this done?

——4:30-5:00—pm Second floor care

3. Please sweep all floors in the second floor classroom. Was this done?
4. Please mop all floors (blue flat mop w/ towel cover on it - use the All Purpose Cleaner spray to lightly mist the floors) in the second floor classroom and bathroom. ——7:15-7:30  Check in First Floor Class & pick up
All cleaning supplies removed from the closet in the first floor studio (brooms, mops, cleaning solution, rubber brush, etc.) should quickly be stored in the first floor supply closet as soon s the class finishes - in a tidy way. Please note if we are low on any cleaning solutions. Was this done?

SUNDAY 12:30-4:15pm


——12:30-12:45 am arrival rituals
1. Was sidewalk chalkboard outside? (if not please put it outside, chain/lock to tree.)
2. Is there a positive, clear message on chalkboard with the YD logo (or similar) clearly on it? (if not please clean it and write a new message on it and draw something similar to the YD logo on it)
3. Were fliers stocked in brochure holder attached to stairs outside? (if not please stock them or indicate if they aren't in stock)
4. Laptop battery charged? (if not please indicate so here and please charge it asap)
5. Internet works? (if not please try to restart computer. if no luck, call 202-300-1269)
6. Your cell phone is on and handy? (if not please have it ready in case of emergency)
7. Please do a walk-through of classrooms and all common areas as you silently repeat a mantra or positive affirmation.  We suggest setting an intention for your service today. Perhaps dedicate your service for the next few hours to someone or something you love, imagining that you share the benefits of your service with others.
- Breathe. Is the air stuffy/smelly? Please light some incense, open windows, turn on fans, or do whatever is needed to freshen the air.
- Which areas were less than clean? Please let us know so we can ask the next person responsible for cleaning to address this.
- Is the temperature OK? If not please indicate here and adjust the thermostat.
8. Did your walk-through reveal that all classrooms and bathrooms are stocked well enough with water, cups, and towels to last through the evening classes?
9. Did your walk-through reveal the need for any maintenance or repairs to the space? If so, please describe.
19. Please ensure the front stoop, halls, stairs, bathrooms, and classrooms are well lit, free of unneeded items including lost and found stuff, with appropriate temperature, and appropriate smell (please light incense if the smell isn't pleasant). Did you do this? Please share any comments.
11. Was any mail delivered to the studio? Please put in Check-In Room desk shelving.
11. Did you see any packages delivered for the studio? If so, please indicate what was in the package and please confirm you put the contents of the package in the appropriate space in the studio and broke down the box for recycling.
12. Do any trash or recycling cans seem full or smelly? If so, they can be taken to trash bins out behind the studio. Please do so before classes start.

———12:45-1:30pm: Activities in the halls, stairs and entrance
1. Please lock the studio door on the first floor for your security.
2. Please wipe all surfaces in the stairwells, hallways and entrance. This includes the ledge that gathers dust that is on your right when you walk up the stairs to the top floor behind the spindles, light fixtures, door frame tops, and hallway baseboards. Was this done?
3. Please scrub shoe benches thoroughly and move out way to scrub wall under chalkboard. Was this done?
4. Please sweep all floors of the stairwells, hallways, entrance, check-in room. Was this done?
5. Please mop all floors (with spray mop) in the stairwells, hallways, entrance, and check in room. Was this done?
6. Please take note of any marks on the walls & wipe down w/ damp rag. Was this done?

——1:30-2 pm - Common area care
1. Did you wash all dirty cups and set them up to dry?
2. Did you fill/wash any water jugs that were low (below half full)?
4. Did you pull all items away from the walls (water jug bench, trash can, rental mat and other objects by sink, etc.) and sweep and mop behind them?
5. Did you clean/tidy sink area and desk area in check-in room? (including wiping out the sink)


——2-2:15  pm - Second Floor Care
1. Please re-stack/fold/roll any props in the Second Floor Studio that might have gotten put away haphazardly in the mid-day classes. Was this done?

2. Using rubber gloves, please wipe down toilets w/ toilet paper. Was this done?
3. Please remove all trash from bathroom trash cans into main trash in office. Was this done?
4. Please sweep the bathroom floor upstairs. Was this done?


——2:50-3:10 pm - Downstairs Bathroom Cleaning
1. Please wipe down all surfaces of the sink (look especially for soap scum build up) & the mirrors in the bathroom downstairs. Was this done?

3. Please use All Purpose Cleaner to scrub the insides of the toilets downstairs. Was this done?

2. Please remove/replenish any towels in the studio. Was this done?
3. Please sweep/clear front porch & stairs as needed. Was this done?  Any specific needs for this task today?
4. Please do any gardening tasks needed (seasonal task). What was done today? Please send a pic of the garden every Friday.

——7:30-7:50am - Studio Clean Up
1. Did you organize rental mats that aren't tightly rolled or neatly stacked in the check-in room storage area?
