Trail Care - June 14, 2025 - Show you care for the Trail - Registration and Waiver

Welcome to the registration and waiver for the Rainbow Routes Association & Junction Creek Stewardship Committee Trail Clean Up Day on Saturday, June 14, 2025!

Volunteers who love the trail are invited to join us on Saturday morning, bring a friend, or bring a DAD! As it is Father's Day weekend. Registering helps us organize and ensures you get last minute notifications such as cancellation due to extreme weather conditions or other changes. You will not receive a confirmation email immediately after registering, only the day before the trail clean up event!

About the Event
Rainbow Routes Association and Junction Creek Stewardship Committee invite you to to come help support the Trans Canada Trail (TCT) section known as the Junction Creek Waterway Park Trail. *Please note, the rain date for our Trail Clean up will be on Sunday, June 15. We will communicate all updates to those who register below.*

Clean Up Details
When: Saturday, June 14, 2025

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Trails: Junction Creek Water Way Park (JCWP) from Wellington Heights to Martindale Rd

Terrain: Natural
Length: 360m to 1 km total walking distance

Dress: Good walking shoes or supportive hiking boots
Duration: 2 - 3 hours

Important Information

Registration is required to help us plan for supplies to clean up as well as food to each volunteer group. Event details, including parking, where to meet, site map, and waivers, will be provided in early June. We will have multiple clean up areas, and will plan to meet for a lunch break by 12:30 p.m. By registering, it ensures you receive all details prior to the event and any last-minute notifications, including weather-related cancellations or any changes to the event plan. Note that you will receive a confirmation email the day before the event.

Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA dark blue vests and JCSC orange vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.

There is FREE busing transportation! Just let the public transit driver know you are attending the event.
