The Irving PTO is excited to announce the Irving's Got Talent Showcase! The Showcase will take place on Saturday, April 15th at 1:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Irving Fun Fair. Participation in Irving's Got Talent is open to any Irving student or family member (child or adult), or any Irving staff member; and participants may be a solo act or a group.
Anyone interested in participating in the showcase must submit this registration form.
Deadline for registration is Friday, March 10th, or on a rolling basis until all slots are full.
After submitting the form, the Planning Committee will contact the participant with instructions to either submit a short video "audition" or sign up for a brief Zoom "audition". Depending on the volume of registrations received, the Planning Committee may need to select only some acts and these "auditions" will assist with selection to ensure a variety of acts. Selected acts will be emailed to confirm their participation by March 24th.
Important Guidelines:
- Acts are limited to 2 minutes or the length of one song, and the Planning Committee reserves the right to approve all acts to ensure that they comply with the Irving Student Handbook and the Irving Essentials.
- Irving will provide a flat stage and a microphone. Any other items or props needed for an act must be provided by the participant. If you plan to play an instrument or need to play a track, you must bring it.
- Participants may be asked to attend a rehearsal before the showcase (date/time TBD).
Please note, Irving's Got Talent is a showcase and there will be no judging of the acts. All students participating will receive a participation award.
