Pottawattamie Arts, Culture & Entertainment (PACE) is accepting entries for the 4th annual exhibition ‘Junior Masters’ to be held in 2026, at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. 'Junior Masters' will feature young artists' aging from 7-18 depicting contemporary, abstract, expressionist, and conceptual works. Other genres and movements welcome to apply. Paintings of all mediums, 3D art of all mediums, and combinations of both are all welcome to apply.
Exhibition Information and RequirementsEach artist will be allowed two (2) pieces of artwork for consideration. Only one (1) work would be accepted into the gallery.
Please submit each piece separately.
All work must be framed, ready to hang, and/or ready for display. Please consider this when setting sale price.
On consignment, the artist will receive 70% of sale price and PACE will retain 30%. Artwork does not need to be for sale.
All information you submit on the application will be final if selected. Please review your application carefully before submitting.
Ceramic, wood, and other forms of 3D media are welcome to apply.
The artwork may also be featured during our annual fundraiser 'PACE Interactive'.
Ages 7 through college age welcome to apply.
IMAGE REQUIREMENTSTitle the Image file with your name and the title of the piece and price.
Submit one (1) file per piece. Please ensure that the file you upload is the piece you'd like to be considered for the exhibition.
Images must be of professional quality without background distractions.
Images must be in the JPG format with a maximum resolution of 150 dpi (1 GB maximum).
WORK REQUIREMENTS
Originality in concept and execution is mandatory. Submitted work should not violate any copyrights.
No diptychs, triptychs, or multiple panel works. Artwork with multiple pieces framed as ONE unit is acceptable. Non-compliant artwork will not be accepted.
SIZE & QUANTITY
Maximum size (excluding frame) is 72 inches on the longest side. Various proportions are acceptable (24 x 36, 30 x 30, 16 x 12, etc.), with the maximum length on the longest side being 72 inches. Only one artwork per artist may be accepted.
