Since its inception, the Friends of the Almaden Library (FAL) has proudly served the needs of our community library by raising and managing funds to support programming and purchases of books, media and technology tools not covered by City funding.
 
We invite you to become a member today and join us in supporting our library.

At present, we focus our fundraising on two annual book sales and through our lobby sales area and we have a dedicated team of volunteers who sort donated books and materials. As we look ahead, the possibilities are wide open to increase opportunities and we are limited only by a volunteer staff eager to help.

Membership in FAL is free, and ensures you receive regular newsletters and information regarding volunteer opportunities and how money raised is benefiting our library community. However, as a 501(c)3 organization, we will always welcome a financial donation that is likely to be tax deductible.

Please consider taking an active role in supporting our library by sharing your time, talent and treasure. With your help we can continue and expand ways to enrich the library and local community it serves.
