Just as we value good healthy local food for everyone, we value having everyone able to participate in the Local Food Summit. That’s why we offer needs based scholarships. There is no way we can really be clear on your financial situation and we don’t want to try. So we need  you to determine the amount that you can fairly pay. We ask only that when deciding on an amount you think about:

• The benefit to you of attending the summit; the new ideas you will hear, the discussions you will have, the people you will meet and the food you will eat.

• The time and money it takes to put on such a wonderful Summit. Lots of hard work, many volunteers and much generosity is involved, but the Summit also takes money to become a reality.

• Seriously think about the money you spend, the money you have and your budget. How much can you manage to pay without breaking the bank or putting too great of a strain on your day to day life?
