Get Smart Mentoring is an organization committed to supporting young people to be authentic compassionate leaders! We believe young women are POWERFUL and CAPABLE and we seek to support them with positivity and good energy when they serve with us! We are a non-profit organization located in northern NJ and are able to take interns from all over the world to make a difference with us!

VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITIES
We put out weekly articles and emails geared towards teens, college students, 20Somethings, and their mentors! We are looking for young women (college or grad students) who are able to commit to 5-7 hours a week of virtual work helping to create content for our website geared towards empowering young women in the areas of character, leadership, and career development. Tasks will include brainstorming topics and social media campaigns, blogging (only if you want!), writing motivational quotes and creating images, mentoring younger writers, helping us to find new writers, posting on social media, empowerment conference calls, and helping us to create new programming, and online fundraising!

IN PERSON OPPORTUNITIES
If you are in the NY/NJ area we also have opportunities to help lead and mentor young women through our programming and be part of an empowering community of women where you share the crazy journey of life! Meetings will be in person in central locations to NYC or Northern NJ 2-3x a month.

DETAILS & APPLICATION DEADLINES
This is an UNPAID internship but you receive FREE life and career coaching from a seasoned PRO! If you reached us through your university, see their stipulations for course credit. We are also happy to provide any documentation to anyone to help them receive credit in their respective academic programs.
