Etch Empathy and Aspen3 Service-Learning practitioners have been involved in youth and community development since 2006.
We are all in leadership roles both professionally and as volunteers, involving in either community development, advocacy or youth development work.
Hence, we are not like any other trainers but we are Service-Learning practitioners, ready to share our years of knowledge with you.
Our YEP LTC is unique for three specific reason, first Etch Empathy uses social experience to bring across the principles of service-learning; poverty dining with single mum for you to have direct interaction with people from the low-income community.
Etch Empathy is the first organisation in Singapore to conduct Trash to Cash (A Poverty Simulation) and the simulation had been conducted in many schools and corporates for volunteers. The simulation was also part of a research by SUTD.
Second, your 2 days 1 night residential stay will be at one of the last kampung in Singapore.
Lastly, as part part of your peer leadership development, we will be providing you with a full DISC profiling report.
