In-District Public/Non-Profit Meeting - no charge if held during regular Library hours.

In-District Public/Non-Profit Class/Workshop - $25/8 hours of class time if a fee is charged. Class time may be scheduled for a block of eight (8) weeks at a time. Classes may be divided in various time increments.

Out-of-District Public/Non-Profit OR any Private/For-Profit Meeting - $30/hour OR $80/half day (4 hours) OR $160/day (8 hours).

Which Community Room would you like to reserve? *

LINDA WIDRIG NEUSS COMMUNITY ROOM: This room has built-in audio/visual equipment, seats up to 150 audience members or 30 students at tables comfortably. Normal set-up includes around 40 chairs arranged in audience seating with a board table style set up along one side of the room that seats 16. There is also a podium and access to the full kitchen.

BOARDROOM: This room has one board table that seats 12 comfortably and has two built-in table lamps with outlets. This room also has direct access to the full kitchen.

ROOM B: This room has a rubber-mat floor and five lockable closets reserved for regular group equipment storage on a first-come, first-served basis. Regular set up includes board table seating along the side with the closet doors and open floor space. There are a few steps to enter this room but handicap access is available.

GALLERY: This room has built-in picture hanging rails along most of the walls. There are twelve 4'x8' canvas covered cork boards hanging throughout the room for display use. Other picture-hanging bars are also available. This room usually has a board table set up that seats 16-20 but could accommodate more.

ART STUDIO: This room has seven large tables with stools, a variety of art supplies and tools including easels, plus an attached clay room with two pottery wheels and a kiln.

Specific Needs / Extra Requests

Kitchen Use - A full kitchen connects to the Neuss Room and the Boardroom. The kitchen is included if a group is paying for their room use. Non-profits may add kitchen use for $20/use.

Piano Rental - The Library's baby grand piano may be used by groups or individuals for concerts or lessons. $10/hour Piano use fee. The piano normally resides in the Linda Widrig Neuss Room but it can be moved into the Gallery.

Special Set-up - All rooms have a standard set-up as described in the room descriptions. Groups may re-arrange for whatever set up works best for them but they must return the room to the original set-up. If a group would like Library staff to make a special set-up, there is a set-up fee of $20.

Round Tables - There are six round tables that may also be used in any of the rooms for no charge.

Extra Chairs - Extra chairs are available for any room use for no charge.

Group Sewing Machine Rental - The Library has several sewing machines available for public/non-profit classes, which can be used at the Library. Fee for group use is $30/hour or $80/half day (4 hours) or $160/full day (8hours).

Early Entry - A group may request early entry (outside of regular Library hours) for a fee of $30/hour or part of an hour.

Late Exit - A group may request a late exit time (outside of regular Library hours) for a fee of $30/hour or part of an hour. All meetings must end by 10 pm.

Audio/Visual Equipment - The Neuss Room has built-in audio (microphone/speaker) and visual (computer & projector) equipment plus device hook-up capabilities.

White Board - There is a 4'x6' dry erase white board that may be used in any room for no charge.

Kiln/Clay Room/Pottery Wheels - The kiln is operated by Library staff only and kiln firing is available for a fee. Clay supplies not provided. The pottery wheels and clay room tools are available for Open Art participants (ask a staff member for more information).

Movie Showing - The Library has a Swank Movie license and approved movies on the Swank website (excluding those that require a single-event license) may be shown to the community. Non-profit/public uses only, no fees may be charged.

Group sign-in/sign-out requirement *

The person supervising the event/program must sign-in prior to the start of the event/program and must also sign-out at the end of the event/program. The sign-in sheet is located at the circulation desk on the main level. A tally of the total attendance is also requested with signing-out.

I/We understand that the group leader must sign-in and sign-out at the front desk before and after the meeting.
