At this point, I have published 4 articles in both the Big Sandy News and the Levisa Lazer concerning the double-nickel tax that would be used to improve the school facilities in our districts. All four can be found here:
BUT I do understand that there are several questions that may still be unanswered. This survey as an opportunity for you to ask me questions DIRECTLY concerning the double-nickel tax. As the Superintendent, I fully support the tax because I do believe that it is best for the students in our county. On the other hand, I fully understand that many people are opposed for various reasons.
Regardless of whether you support or do not support the double-nickel tax, I do want you to have the correct information in making your decision.
Please DO NOT USE this a platform to agree or to disagree with the nickel-tax. Simply, ask any double-nickel tax question that you may have. I will compile the questions, answer them to the best of my ability, and send the answers back out on a regular basis. I will also provide another source (KDE, County Clerk, etc.) that can confirm the answers that I will provide.
This will be COMPLETELY anonymous.
