The Bexar County Clerk's Office offers tours of some facilities, including collaborative visits to the Bexar Heritage Center in the Old Red Courthouse. Tours are free, and open to any organization, school group, or association that may be interested. Tours of the facilities are available Monday to Friday from 9AM to 3PM, with the exception of holidays. Tours last approx. 45-60 minutes, and can accommodate topics of interest or focus on a given department.
Tours must be scheduled at least fourteen days in advance (i.e. 14 days, 2-weeks prior notice). and can be cancelled up to twenty-four hours before the specific time of the tour. Tour groups with over twenty participants may be split into smaller groups.
Upon receiving the form, a county employee will respond within 48 hours (with the exception of weekends and holidays) to confirm the date and time of the tour, as well as to provide any additional instructions.
School groups must use the School Tour Form, rather than the standard Tour Form.
