World First Aid Day 2026 – Parent & Child First Aid Workshop

To celebrate World First Aid Day , we are delighted to host a special First Aid Workshop at British International School Phuket on Saturday, 12 September 2026, from 09:00–12:00.

This year, we are excited to include the Little Heroes First Aid Kids Program, created by First Aid Training Phuket, giving children aged 5–11 years the opportunity to learn essential first aid skills alongside their parents.

First Aid for Parents Workshop

This practical 3-hour workshop will teach basic life support and emergency response skills, including:

✅ Hands-Only CPR
✅ Managing Severe Bleeding
✅ Bandaging for Strains and Sprains
✅ Responding to Choking Emergencies
✅ Key Emergency Contacts and Action Plans

All participants will receive a First Aid Training Phuket Certificate of Participation at the end of the workshop.

Little Heroes First Aid Kids Workshop

This fun and interactive 3-hour workshop is specially designed for children aged 5–11 years and introduces basic first aid and emergency response skills in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate way.

Children will learn:

✅ Which number to call in an emergency

✅ The importance of knowing their home address and emergency contact details

✅ How to manage minor cuts, grazes, and bigger bleeds

✅ Basic bandaging techniques for strains, sprains, and injuries

✅ The difference between a small emergency and a big emergency

✅ How to build their own child-friendly first aid kit to take home

✅ How to stay calm and get help when someone is hurt

🎓 Every child will receive a Little Heroes First Aid Graduation Certificate upon completion of the workshop.

Workshop Fees

BISP Parent & Child/Children Rate

700 THB per participant

Available when a BISP parent and child/children enrol together.

Examples:

  • 1 Parent + 1 Child = 1,400 THB

  • 1 Parent + 2 Children = 2,100 THB

  • 2 Parents + 2 Children = 2,800 THB

Individual Participant Rates

BISP Parent: 750 THB per participant

BISP Child: 750 THB per participant

Non-BISP Parent or Child: 1,000 THB per participant

Registration & Payment

  • A 500 THB non-refundable deposit is required by 31 July 2026 to secure your place.

  • Places are limited and will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received.

  • Payment can be made via the QR code provided.

  • A receipt will be emailed upon receipt of the deposit.

  • The remaining balance must be paid by Friday, 11 September 2026.

Additional Information

  • The workshop will be conducted in English.

  • A Thai-language workshop will be offered in the coming weeks (dates to be confirmed).

  • Most practical skills are floor-based. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing suitable for kneeling and movement, such as a high-neck T-shirt or blouse with leggings, sportswear, or long shorts.

  • Participants interested in obtaining further first aid certifications are welcome to speak with our instructors after the workshop.
