Enlistment in Residence (AY 2526)
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY REQUESTING ENLISTMENT IN RESIDENCE:
  1. Please fill out the form correctly. We will not process requests with incorrect or incomplete information.
  2. If you are unsure about whether or not you should enlist in residence, you may consult your program adviser or the Director for Graduate Studies (statgraduate.upd@up.edu.ph).
  3. If you are planning to complete an INC for any subject while in residence, please make sure that the INC has not yet lapsed. You have one year to complete your INC. For example, if you incurred your INC at the end of 1st Sem AY 24-25, you may complete it until the end of 1st Sem AY 25-26. If your INC is lapsed, you need to re-enroll in the subject.
  4. If you are planning to defend your capstone project (Stat 298, 299, 300, 400, DS 400) while in residence, make sure your INC is not yet lapsedWe will not process any appeals related to lapsed INCs!
  5. You may file for residency anytime during the term. Hence, enlistment in residency is low priority for the Office of Graduate Studies during enlistment period.
  6. You may pay the residence fee indicated in CRS once your application status is assessed. 
  7. If you wish to expedite your application (e.g., your defense is scheduled at the start of the sem) or if you wish to follow up your application, please email statgraduate.upd@up.edu.ph.

(1) If you are not planning to work on your studies this semester (e.g., financial, health, personal reasons), please file for a Leave of Absence (LOA) instead of enroll in residency. Sems on LOA are not counted towards MRR.
