Volunteering with NAAAP provides a unique opportunity to network with other Asian professionals and contribute to the local community. Our volunteers experience the leadership, values and vision that defines our organization, whether they are working behind the scenes in support of the Convention operations or interacting with the attendees, sponsors and speakers on the front lines.

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS

Below are shifts available for the 2016 NAAAP Convention. Please indicate ALL times that you are available to help and we will send you confirmation emails by Wednesday, Aug 3 for your shift times. Please plan to arrive 20 minutes before your shift begins to allow for Parking & arriving at the Caesars Palace Conference Center. Thank you!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 11

Needed are Registration, Greeters, and Ushers

8:30am - 12:30pm

12:00pm - 4:00pm

3:30pm - 7:30pm

Needed are Registration, Greeters, Ushers, Special Event

7:00am - 11:00am

10:30am - 2:30pm

2:30pm - 6:30pm

4:30-6:30pm / 8:00-10:00pm (1.5 hour break to enjoy event)

What roles are you interested in? *

Please choose ALL roles that you are interested in, and please fill out "OTHER" for any SKILLS you would like to share with us.

Registration - Registration volunteers will be working at the registration desk and assist the attendees with check-in, badge retrieval, and handle any walk-in/new registrations. Experience with computers and online web systems and excellent organizational skills are preferred.

Greeter / Usher / Expo - Ushering volunteers will assist with directing attendees, facilitate the flow of walk-ins, and assisting attendees with questions regarding directions/layout of the convention site, convention schedule, details of the special events and other general inquiries. Some greeters will also facilitate the traffic at meal times and ensuring that the attendees enter at appropriate times

Special Events - Special Events volunteers will assist each special events as schedule. While duties may vary, the special events volunteers will assist in answering attendee questions about the scope of the special events, providing general support with respect to the traffic flow at the Banquet.
