GACSA Annual Forum Registration
On behalf of the Global Alliance for Climate Smart Agriculture (GACSA) it is our pleasure to announce the GACSA Annual Forum, "Climate-Smart Agriculture in Action."  The Annual Forum will take place at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy from June 14th to 17th, 2016.

GACSA was formed to bring together governments (from countries at all levels of development), businesses, farmers’ organizations, civil society groups, producer organizations, research bodies and intergovernmental entities to provide  a broad, open and inclusive, platform focused on action, knowledge and practice sharing.   GACSA is food security and nutrition focused, agriculture-driven and action-oriented platform committed to incorporating climate-smart approaches encompassing all scales and types of agriculture systems, across all climates and approaches to farming.  

GACSA’s ambitious future is based upon supporting and inspiring action. Farmers, fishers, foresters, and ranchers are at the epicenter of this action, and therefore GACSA is devoting its Annual Forum to showcasing climate-smart agriculture in action. The Forum will be a dynamic gathering, where the participants share solutions, discuss challenges, and build partnerships on climate-smart agriculture. We are seeking out action-oriented stakeholders to come to both share and learn at the GACSA Annual Forum.

Partnership Brokerage
GACSA would like to broker informal meetings at the GACSA Annual Forum. The first step in that process is identifying a pool of willing participants. If you would like to participate in the brokered meetings, please answer the questions below. We are asking for a brief description of your area of expertise and geographic focus as a way to better inform those who may want to book meetings with you at the Forum.

Photo Requirement for FAO Security
Security at the Headquarters of FAO dictates that all conference participants must provide a digital, passport sized and style photograph to the security services. The easiest way to satisfy this requirement is to take a photo (selfie) with a mobile device. Please take the photo against a white background and send it to the GACSA Facilitation Unit. GACSA-Facilitation-Unit@fao.org
